The India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) 2024 will be held at HICC, Hyderabad from 11-13 November. Apart from it being a huge fest for video game lovers and amateur developers, it is also a great launching pad for someone starting out in the business and struggling to get a foothold.

A flagship initiative by the IGDC in this direction is the Investor-Publishers (IP) connect. The name gives it all away. This program offers a platform for studios or developers looking for investments or publishers to pitch their idea to the leading industry experts.

The IP connect is meant solely for Indian gaming startups. They will have limited face time with the biggest video game developers today. All such meetings are pre-screened and held in an exclusive one-on-one format. Indie developers or publishers will be able to closely interact will investors, publishers, and other founders.

As a bonus, IGDC also offers startups a chance to be mentored by industry leaders before pitching their ideas directly to the leaders.

Some of the top investors and publishers leading this IP connect are MPL, Kwalee, Zapak, Dream Sport, Raine, Equanimity, Gamezop, Centre Court Capital, etc.

Developers or studios and investors or publishers can apply separately to be part of this initiative by IGDC.
