Check out the complete details about Free Fire EWC 2026, including its schedule, teams, groups, and where to watch.
Free Fire EWC 2026 is happening, and India's coming back with three teams. The Fire World Cup 2026 runs July 15 to 18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with 24 teams fighting for $1 million. This is the first time 24 teams are playing, and India returns after missing EWC 2025 because of the Free Fire ban.
Free Fire EWC 2026 Schedule and Format
The tournament runs four days in mid-July. Group Stage happens first, then Survival Stage, and finally Champion Rush Finals.
The 24 teams split into two groups.
- Top 4 from each group go straight to Finals.
- Teams placed 5th to 10th move to Survival Stage, where top 4 qualify for Finals.
- Bottom 2 teams in each group are eliminated.
Finals use Champion Rush format. Teams play until a team hits the Champion Rush Point threshold. Once a team becomes eligible, the first Booyah after that wins the championship. If no Booyah happens, highest total points wins. It rewards consistency but also creates that decisive final moment.
India's three teams at FF EWC 2026
India has three slots this year, and all three qualified through FFMIC 2026 Spring Grand Finals in Ahmedabad. S8UL Esports finished runner-up with 131 points and two Booyahs. Team Apex Gaming and Total Gaming Esports also qualified via FFMIC Spring. This is the first time India sends three teams to a Free Fire international LAN.
S8UL's roster for EWC 2026 includes Troll, Prinxz (captain), Bunny, Jack07, and Stiven. Prinxz said the team's chemistry and shared game sense carried them through a multi-stage competition with hundreds of teams. Free Fire is S8UL's sixth title at EWC 2026.
