Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2024 is about to begin, and Guardians across the galaxy are ready to dive into the spookiest event of the year.
Since its debut in 2015, Festival of the Lost has become a highly anticipated event, offering players the chance to earn exclusive rewards, don new armor, and celebrate Halloween-themed content in the world of Destiny.
With haunted Lost Sectors, special event masks, and a fresh set of weapons to chase, there’s plenty to look forward to.
When Does the Festival of the Lost Start?
The Festival of the Lost 2024 will begin on October 29, 2024, and run until November 19, 2024.
The event will begin with the weekly reset, which occurs at the following times, depending on your timezone:
- Coordinated Universal Time (UTC): 5:00 PM
- Pacific Time (PT): 10:00 AM
- Eastern Time (ET): 1:00 PM
- British Summer Time (BST): 6:00 PM
- Central European Summer Time (CEST): 7:00 PM
- Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST): 3:00 AM (next day)
Festival of the Lost Content
New Weapons
While only one new weapon will be added this year, several fan-favorite weapons from previous events are making a comeback:
- Arcane Embrance (new Arc Shotgun)
- Acosmic (returning)
- Horror Story (returning)
- Jurassic Green (returning)
- Mechabre (returning)
New Armor Sets
Three new armor sets, each themed around wizards, will be available for Warlock, Titan, and Hunter:
- Hunter: Inspired by witchcraft and dark magic
- Warlock: Features elements of dark magic and sorcery
- Titan: Based on traditional "good" wizards
New Event Masks
Festival of the Lost wouldn’t be complete without a fresh set of event masks. This year, eight new masks are available for players to collect:
- Cayde-6 Mask
- Cursed Thrall Mask
- Finalized Ghost Mask
- Kadi 55-30 Mask
- Nezarec Mask
- Marathon Runner Mask
- Tower Staff Mask
- Witness Mask
Haunted Sectors
The highlight of the 2024 Festival is the return of Haunted Sectors. These are existing Lost Sectors filled with Halloween-themed enemies, including the fan-favorite Headless One boss. Completing these missions will reward you with Eerie Engrams, which can be used to roll and focus event-specific weapons.
