Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has just been released and gives players even harder challenges than the first title could. And even though it might not be really chivalrous to do – sometimes the best way to make progress is by playing God by blessing Henry with miraculously appearing groschen or him being teleported to wherever he needs to be.

That's why we gathered some of the best cheats in the game and tell you how the game’s console commands work.

What Are Console Commands?

To simplify it: console commands are lines of code that allow you to manipulate your game. Depending on the kind of code, they can give you more money, teleport you around the map or change other aspects of the game.

Of course, they are not intended to be used when you want to experience the game the way you are supposed to, and mainly used by devs during testing phases. However, some developers are providing players with access to these commands if they want to try them out for fun or need some help at very challenging moments of the game.

Cheat codes For Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

While PS5 and Xbox players are not able to use the console commands at all, PC players only have to swap the version of their game over to the mode used by developers to test out aspects of the game.

You do this via Steam, before even starting the game by following these easy steps:

  • Go to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in your Steam Library
  • Right-click and select “Properties”
  • Type the command ‘devmode’ under the Launch Options category
  • Start KCD2
