Round 1 of the BMPS Series began on August 20th, 2024 and was broadcast live by Krafton on their YouTube channel. In this initial stage, 128 teams with 16 teams a group, each team playing six matches before reshuffle. On day 1, teams like Global Esports, Gods Reign and Team 8bit kept their fans happy while new teams like Dragon Esports made fans by showing great talent in the game.
BMPS 2024 Round 1 Day 1 Match Summary
Group 1 Matches
Match 1 - Erangle
Gods Reign performed exceptionally well and managed to secure a Chicken Dinner, earning 20 points. Inertia Esports managed to secure 13 points, while Dragon Esports and TMG Gaming earned 10 points each on Erangle. Big names like Medal Esports & Vasista Esports managed 6 & 4 points respectively. Unfortunately, TEAM INS and Team Snipy were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 2 - Miramar
Dragon Esports displayed a remarkable performance in the second game and earned a 24-point Chicken Dinner. Meanwhile, CFSxEye4Eye earned 15 points in this match. UC Gaming & TEAM INS gained 9 & 6 points, respectively. Inertia Esports, 4King Esports, 4 Cartoons, Inspiration Esports & K9 Esports earned 5 points each. Unfortunately, Gods Reign, Rush If Possible Mizo, Team Snipy & Medal Esports were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 3 - Sanhok
Vasista Esports put on an impressive performance in the third game, securing an 18-point Chicken Dinner. Meanwhile, TEAM INS earned 17 points in this match, while Gods Reign & Big Brothers Esports gained 13 & 11 points, respectively. Inertia Esports, Dragon Esports and Team Snipy were eliminated without scoring any points.
Group 2 Matches
Match 1 - Vikendi
Silly Esports performed exceptionally well and was able to secure a Chicken Dinner with 19 points. Team 8bit also demonstrated impressive skills in Vikendi and earned 17 points. Meanwhile, Team VST and GENxFM Esports got 9 points, each. Global Esports had a bad start and got only 8 points alongside HeatBeasts Esports. ALPHA 6, and Team Twisted Soul were eliminated early and did not earn any points.
Match 2 - Miramar
Team 8bit who showed an eye-catching performance in Vikendi also earned a huge 24-point Chicken Dinner in Miramar, while Global Esports came in second with 15 points. IMPRNT Esports claimed the third spot with 12 points, followed by Team VST in fourth place with a total of 8 points. Unfortunately, HeatBeasts Esports, Team Twisted Soul and RDx Girls were eliminated without any points.
Match 3 - Erangle
Silly Esports won the final map with a 21-point Chicken Dinner. Team 8bit claimed 2nd place with 19 points, 13 of which were from finishes. Global Esports battled for third place with 14 points. Ignite Gaming claimed fourth with 10 points. ALPHA 6, HeatBeasts Esports and RDx Girls were eliminated early with no points.
Overall Standings Round 1 Day 1: Group 1 & 2
On the first day of BMPS 2024, Group 1 and 2 took part in three matches each. Teams such as Silly Esports, Team 8bit, Global Esports, Gods Reign, Dragon Esports, TEAM INS and many others displayed high-quality gameplay.
