As the Duffer brothers wrap up Stranger Things, they're set to thrill fans again with a new psychological horror series, Something Bad Is Going To Happen, created by Haley Z. Boston for Netflix.
As Matt and Ross Duffer wrap up the fifth and final season of Stranger Things for Netflix, they've already lined up their next chilling venture. Through their development deal with Netflix, the Duffer brothers are set to produce a new psychological horror series titled "Something Bad Is Going To Happen".
A New Nightmare on the Horizon
Haley Z. Boston, known for her work on Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities and Brand New Cherry Flavor, has written the script and will be the showrunner for the upcoming series. She will also serve as an executive producer alongside the Duffer brothers and Hilary Leavitt through their company, Upside Down Pictures. Netflix describes the series as following a bride and groom during the week leading up to their "ill-fated nuptials."
The Duffers were hugely positive about the script:
We were knocked flat when we first read Haley's script. She is a major new talent with a singular voice—her writing is twisted, terrifying, funny, and just… very Haley. We feel so lucky to be producing her first show, and we can't wait to share her vision with the rest of the world.

Beyond Something Bad Is Going To Happen, the Duffer brothers are also busy with multiple other projects for Netflix.
