EWC CS2 Tournament Came to an End: NAVI took the Trophy
In the first-ever EWC CS2 Championship, NAVI won the grand prize of $400,000. Despite not being the favorites, they showed amazing skill and strategy throughout the tournament. NAVI defeated top teams FaZe and MOUZ in the playoffs and faced G2 Esports in the grand final. In the best-of-three series, NAVI lost the first game on Ancient but made an incredible comeback by winning on Nuke and Inferno.
Some of the most notable moments from the matches include, G2 Esports' player Monesy pulling off an amazing 1v3 clutch on the B-Bombsite in Ancient, which was crucial for their win in overtime against NAVI in the CS2 Grand Finals. On the other side, NAVI’s player B1t had a standout performance on Inferno, breaking G2’s economy and helping NAVI clinch the championship.
Dota 2 Riyadh Masters: Gaimin Gladiators were the Champions
In the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters, the Canadian team Gaimin Gladiators won the grand final against Liquid Echo. Both teams had impressive gameplay leading up to the final, but Gaimin Gladiators played better as a team and had stronger individual performances.
A key moment was when Seleri from Gaimin Gladiators used Enigma’s Blackhole to trap two Liquid Echo players, which helped secure an early win in a team fight. Gaimin Gladiators earned $1,500,000 and the EWC trophy for their victory. Additionally, Team Falcons showed off their strategic skills too by beating Tundra 2-0 to take third place.
