The Esports World Cup Foundation dropped massive news. EWC 2026 returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a jaw-dropping $75 million prize pool. Over 2,000 players from 200 clubs across 100+ countries will battle for glory from July 6 through August 23.

This marks the world's largest multi-title esports event. Twenty-five tournaments across 24 games span seven intense weeks. The stakes? Life-changing money and the ultimate bragging rights.

EWC 2026 has a Record-Breaking Prize Pool

The $75 million prize pool cements EWC 2026 as esports royalty. That's not just numbers, it's support for players and clubs grinding year-round.

Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, explains it best. "The life-changing prize pool exists to support the people at the heart of esports: the players and the Clubs that invest in them year after year. EWC is different because of the Club Championship. One title crowns a champion. EWC crowns the ultimate cross-game Club Champion."

EWC Club Championship Gets $30 Million

The flagship EWC Club Championship hands out $30 million to the top 24 clubs. That's $3 million more than last year. The winning club walks away with $7 million alone. Higher prize allocations spread across the remaining top finishers, too.

Last year's Club Championship went down to the wire. Seven clubs fought for the title in the final week. Expect 2026 to deliver similar drama.

Individual Game Championships Exceed $39 Million

Each game championship carries its own prize pool. Combined, they top $39 million. That's serious cash for individual teams dominating their titles.

The rest of the prize money goes to awards. MVP honors for every tournament, plus the Jafonso Award for players or clubs winning championships after qualifying through Last Chance Qualifiers. Publisher-led qualification events before Riyadh also distribute prizes.
