The M7 World Championship brings Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s top talent to Jakarta in January 2026, offering a $1 million prize pool and a fan carnival experience.
 
    Next year’s M7 World Championship, the biggest stage in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports, will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. Moonton has now revealed the full event schedule, locations, prize structure, and the qualification journey for 22 of the world’s most skilled teams.
M7 World Championship Dates & Format
The M7 World Championship kicks off with the Wildcard Stage from January 3–6, 2026, where eight underdog teams will clash for just one spot in the Swiss Stage.
After this, the Group Stage unfolds from January 10–17, 2026, featuring 16 teams (15 direct qualifiers and the Wildcard winner). The top eight squads will move on to the critical Knockout Stage, scheduled from January 18–25, 2026.
M7 World Championship Venues
- XO Hall (MPL Arena): Wildcard, Swiss, and Day 1 Knockouts
- Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan (GBK): Knockout Finals, including the Grand Final match
Besides esports action, fans can visit the M7 Carnival at Stadion Madya GBK from January 23–25. There they’ll enjoy live shows, meet-and-greets, and the debut M7 Talent Show, bringing the celebration off the screen and into reality.
Teams and Slot Distribution
A total of 22 teams will compete, eight in Wildcards, with the rest in the main stages. Confirmed slots are divided among global leagues:
- MPL Philippine S16: Team Liquid, Aurora
- MPL Indonesia S16: 2 teams
- MPL Malaysia S16: 2 teams
- MPL Singapore S10: 1 team
- MPL Cambodia S9: 1 team
- MPL MENA S8: Team Falcons
- MPL LATAM S4: 1 team
- NM MCC S6: 1 team
- MTC S6: Aurora Gaming
- MSL MM S2: 1 team
- MCS 2025: 1 team
Wildcard slots include RLG SE, Axe, Boostgate Esports, Team Zone (Mongolia), and more. Over 14 slots will be finalised after the ongoing regional events wrap up.
Match Structure
- Wildcard Stage: Round robin (split groups), with playoffs between top group finishers for a Swiss slot
- Swiss Stage: 16 teams play up to five matches; three wins secure Knockout advancement
- Knockout Stage: Double-elimination bracket, best-of-five matches, Grand Finals are best-of-seven
Prize Pool Details
With a total of $1 million up for grabs:
- Champion: $320,000
- Second Place: $150,000
- Third Place: $90,000
- MVP Award: $5,000
- All 22 teams earn a guaranteed share payout for every competing squad.
Tickets and Carnival Info
Fans can buy tickets from November 2 at the official site, with early bird discounts of 20% until the end of November. M7 marks the first time since M4 that the championship returns to Indonesia, and the move to January accommodates the SEA Games calendar.
