We will finally get to see S8UL and GodLike Esports together at India Rising: Road to EWC.
India's two biggest esports orgs are finally on the same stage, and it's actually a big moment. S8UL & GodLike Esports will both be at India Rising: Road to EWC on July 4 in Mumbai. This is one of those rare times when rivalry takes a break and the whole gaming community just comes together. The festival is backed by JioBLAST and the Esports Foundation, and it's basically India's pathway into the Esports World Cup ecosystem.
S8UL & GodLike to Unite for India Rising: Road To EWC
Both S8UL and GodLike are official Esports World Cup Club Partners, which means they're part of an elite 40-club program globally.
Out of thousands of orgs worldwide, India is one of the few countries with multiple partner clubs. That puts us right alongside the US, China, and Brazil as a top priority for EWC. Honestly, that's pretty cool.
Creator lineup is stacked
Fans attending Mumbai's event can meet some of India's biggest gaming creators. S8UL's lineup includes Mortal, 8Bit Thug, Soul Regaltos, JokerKiHaveli, Snax Gaming, Krutika Plays, 8Bit Binks, 8Bit Rebel, 8Bit Mafia, Sid, Ankkitac, Mili, and Jonty Gaming.
GodLike's roster has Kronten, Amar, Mizo, ZGOD, Bachu, Lolz, Dobby, Sharkshe, Learn, Crow, Antaryami, SMR, Owais, Neutrino, Casper, Vivone, Steffen, Admino, Spower, and Ankibot. That's like fifty recognisable names at one event. The scale is honestly insane.
Chess finals will decide EWC spot
The Chess Grand Finals between Indian GM Vidit Gujrathi and Dutch GM Benjamin Bok is the big draw. Winner gets a place in the final stage of Esports World Cup 2026 Chess. Last time Vidit was at EWC, he reached the quarterfinals and lost to Magnus Carlsen. So he knows what it takes.
Beyond chess, there'll be showmatches for VALORANT and MOBA Legends: 5v5!. These will feature creators, pro players, and community personalities. It's more entertainment than competition, but still fun to watch.
Well, tickets are available on the District app. If you're in Mumbai or nearby, this is worth attending.
S8UL & GodLike sharing the stage is the kind of thing that doesn't happen often, and it shows how mature Indian esports has become. It's not just about competing anymore. It's about building the whole scene together.
