Fortnite Has Finally Fixed Its Biggest Issue In Ranked

Chapter 5 Season 3 is one of the most controversial Fortnite seasons of all time. Completely overpowered cars, nitro splashes that make buildings disappear from one moment to the next, and fists that make you feel unsafe even in a full-metal box. These overpowered items have made this season and especially the Ranked mode unplayable. But now Epic Games has finally released a test update with changes that players have been demanding for years!

Epic Games are finally responding to the wishes of millions of players and making Ranked playable again.

Fortnite’s July 4 hotfix was released alongside the new All Sweat Summer event, which runs until Thursday, July 18. For the duration of these 14 days, Epic Games has decided to introduce the same loot pool from tournaments to Ranked mode, a change that has been requested for several years, much to the delight of many players.

This means that there will no longer be any vehicles and vehicle-related items in both Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. This includes the Mythic Nitro Cars used by in-game boss characters.

There has been lots of discussion on social media about this update, with most agreeing that the removal of vehicles from Ranked is a step in the right direction.

It is still unclear whether these changes will be reversed after July 18, but some players are hoping that this test will become a permanent change that will lead to a separation of the loot pool between Ranked Mode and Public Battle Royale Mode. Yes, you "casuals" heard right. For all those who still enjoyed this season, there is still the possibility to drive over the whole lobby with vehicles in the normal Public Battle Royale mode.

Finally, a question for you. What do you think of this big change that Epic Games has dared to make? Do you agree with the majority? Are you happy that there is now a clear separation between Ranked and the normal Battle Royale mode?
