Epic Games’ Fortnite Mobile Series is a new global solo tournament for touch players, offering a $1,000,000 prize pool.
The Fortnite Mobile Series is designed specifically for mobile players using touch controls only, played exclusively in Blitz Royale mode, with controllers completely banned. It spans multiple months across late 2025 and early 2026 and covers seven key regions: North America Central, Europe, North America West, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil. The goal is to give mobile Fortnite its own serious competitive circuit, similar to other major mobile esports like Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile.
Fortnite Mobile Series format and phases
The Fortnite Mobile Series is split into three main phases that gradually narrow the field from open participation to a 16‑player offline final.
Phase 1 – Monthly Opens: Players enter multiple online rounds that feed into regional Qualifiers. These Qualifiers already pay out cash and also award points towards a regional Series Leaderboard used for seeding in later phases. There is also a Last Chance Qualifier, which doesn’t give prize money but acts as a final way to reach the Group Stage.
Phase 2 – Group Stage & Semifinals: Qualified players are seeded into Groups based on their Series Leaderboard standings. The top eight from each Group move into the regional Semifinals, where placements determine who reaches the Championship. In Europe and North America Central, the top three players from each Semifinal qualify; in NA West, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil, the top two from each Semifinal go through.
Phase 3 – Mobile Series Championship: The final 16 players meet on LAN at the Fortnite Mobile Series Championship to fight for a dedicated $200,000 prize pool segment. This event is one of two new LAN tournaments added to the FNCS 2026 calendar.
All matches throughout the series are solo, touch‑only Blitz Royale, making this a pure test of mobile mechanics and game sense.
Regions and qualification path
The Fortnite Mobile Series runs across seven regions: NA Central, Europe, NA West, Oceania, Asia, Middle East, and Brazil. Every region follows the same three‑phase structure, but the number of Semifinal qualifiers per region differs slightly:
- EU & NA Central: Top 3 players from each Semifinal advance to the Championship.
- NA West, OCE, Asia, ME, Brazil: Top 2 from each Semifinal qualify.
This creates a 16‑player Championship lobby made entirely from touch‑only specialists who proved themselves over months of online play.

Fortnite Mobile Series Prize pool and payouts
The total prize pool for the Fortnite Mobile Series is $1,000,000. That money is spread across online Qualifiers, extra Cash Cups, and the offline Championship.
Qualifier prizes
Players can enter up to 20 Qualifiers across the season, and each region has its own payout table.
- North America Central & Europe:
- 1st place in a Qualifier earns $1,000, with prize money extending down to 16th place ($100).
- North America West, Oceania, Asia, Middle East, Brazil:
- 1st place earns $700, again paying down to 16th with $100.
On top of that, Epic will run four Solo Mobile Victory Cash Cups between the Semifinals and the Championship. In these special events, eligible players who reach Round 2 get $100 for every single Victory Royale they secure, acting like a “bounty” on wins.
Championship prize
The in‑person Fortnite Mobile Series Championship has a ring‑fenced $200,000 prize pool for the final 16 competitors. Exact placement breakdown for that LAN has not yet been fully detailed, but it’s confirmed as part of the $1M total.

Well, by locking the Fortnite Mobile Series to solo, touch‑only Blitz Royale and backing it with a $1M prize pool, Epic is clearly treating mobile as its own serious esports lane rather than a side option. The three‑phase structure gives grinders consistent online competition plus a realistic shot at a live stage, mirroring what has made other mobile titles successful on the global circuit.
