The robot action shooter has only been released for arcade so far but soon will be playable on Nintendo Switch as well.
As announced by developer G.rev, the robot-themed action shoot ‘em up Strania: The Stella Machina Ex will be released on January 23 for Switch.
The enhanced version of Strania: The Stella Machina will be the first time the game has been released outside arcades.
Developed by the same people that made shooter classics like G-Darius and Border Down and with graphics from Ikaruga designer Hiroshi Iuchu, this game throws you at the frontline of an intergalactic war between two civilizations.
Featuring 4 gigantic robots and 11 futuristic weapons of mass destruction, which can be combined in unique ways, up to two players can choose one side of this conflict and fight for the survival of their party.
Faster, harder, louder
This new version of the game features:
- The possibility of playing both sides of the war and choose between the Stranian and the Vowers.
- 11 different weapons that can be combined in unique ways to create new strategies.
- Choose between four difficulty modes, to show and improve your skills: Normal, Hard, Expert and Hell.
- Switch between the original and the new arranged soundtrack by master composer Keishi Yonao.
- Twice the speed of the original game with maximum performance.
