Rejoice, console and Mac gamers! You can finally dive into the long-awaited updates that have been rolling out since September. This latest patch, which includes official mod support, will greatly enhance your experience.
At the beginning of September, Patch 7 was released for PC, adding a wealth of new content to Larian's massive role-playing game. However, console players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S had to endure a frustrating wait, as the update was initially delayed until October. Fortunately, the wait is over!

As of today, players on all consoles and Mac have access to the latest patch. Larian announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the update will be rolled out to all other platforms. If the patch isn't already available on your device, it should be arriving shortly.

One of the most notable features of this update is the introduction of official mod support for consoles. It's important to note, however, that only carefully curated mods will be accessible through this new feature. It is unlikely that the popular Toolkit Unlocked mod will be among those available.
For those interested in the detailed changes brought by this update, Larian have included the PC patch notes at the end of their announcement. The console patch will include the same major updates, along with specific technical fixes and enhancements tailored for those platforms.
