Despite recent speculation from Corsair's Gaming Finance VP, the company now confirms that it has no inside knowledge of when the PC version will arrive.

Not long ago, Ronald van Veen, Corsair's Gaming Finance VP, suggested that the PC version of GTA 6 could arrive in early 2026. Now, Corsair has clarified that this was nothing more than speculation.
GTA Fans Caught Off Guard
During Corsair’s quarterly earnings call, van Veen casually mentioned the potential release timeline for the (probably) most anticipated game of the decade. He stated: "Yes, GTA 6 is probably the game everyone is talking about. I think we'll get a look at it later this year when it launches for consoles. To my knowledge, it will release in fall for consoles and early 2026 for PC." Fans took this as an unofficial confirmation – only for Corsair to now walk it back.
Corsair Knows Nothing About GTA 6
Speaking to IGN, a Corsair spokesperson clarified that van Veen's statement was purely speculation. The company has received no official information from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive regarding GTA 6’s release date.
Meanwhile, Take-Two’s own quarterly report didn’t provide any additional details beyond the already announced fall 2025 console release. Some fans remain skeptical about that timeline, speculating a delay into 2026. The recent announcement of Borderlands 4 –another Take-Two project –dropping in September 2025 has only fueled these doubts. If Take-Two is already stacking big releases, would they really squeeze GTA 6 into the same window? And if a console delay happens, the PC version would likely be pushed back even further.
One thing’s for sure: Rockstar isn’t in a hurry to confirm anything. Until they do, all we have is speculation – no matter who it comes from.
