We're getting a "Golden Week" in Fortnite, which means the item shop will be full of anime collabs for a week! Are the most desired ones coming back, though?

Golden Week

The Golden Week started with My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen skins being added to the item shop on April 26. This is the first wave that's supposed to run until April 30.

Other Japanese- and anime-themed skins that are not part of collaborations are also being offered, so even if you haven't watched the aforementioned shows, you might be able to find something of interest!

Will Attack On Titan And Naruto Return?

As you can see in Hypex's tweet above, community members are hoping that this anime special means that Attack on Titan and Naruto will return to the item shop.

However, this isn't confirmed - Fortnite fans start rumors about old skins coming back on a regular basis, but the fact is that the longer something hasn't been in the shop, the more unlikely it is to return. AoT was last in the item shop approximately two years ago, and Naruto about two and a half years ago.

Of course, we have had unexpected returns like the Renegade Raider. However, these were typically original skins that Epic could have added as often as they wanted; they just decided to make them rare.

When it comes to collaboration skins, though, things get a bit more complicated because the company behind the collab is also involved. If, e.g., their contract with Epic has ended, their skins can't return without a renewal of said contract.

It would be great to get AoT and Naruto skins back, but we also don't want you to get your hopes up and end up being disappointed.

Do you think these two collaborations will ever make a return? What other skins would you like to see back in the item shop?
