Nintendo fans are convinced they know what first game for the new Switch will be.
With the Switch 2 seemingly just around the corner, excitement is building among fans, who are eagerly seeking any information about Nintendo's new console.
New hints point to Switch 2 announcement
Following several leaks over the past few months, another intriguing hint has emerged from an unexpected source. Observant fans have noticed that the trailer for the remastered version of Yooka-Laylee contains more than just the game's announcement.
In the trailer, the final scene includes a subtle detail that could carry significant meaning. While the trailer explicitly mentions other consoles, such as the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, the logo for the Nintendo Switch is absent, replaced instead by Nintendo's main logo.

Fans are convinced that this detail points to the upcoming game being released on the Switch 2. If true, Yooka-Replaylee would be the first confirmed game for Nintendo's next console.
While we should take this information with a grain of salt, it does remind us of a similar situation in which a trailer for Sonic Forces featured a placeholder Nintendo logo, hinting at the original Nintendo Switch. And, indeed, that was one of the first Switch games.
What are your thoughts on this development? Could Yooka-Replaylee be the first game announced for the Switch 2?
