The Yakuza or Like A Dragon series is a stunning, successful franchise with eight mainline titles, dozens of spin-offs and even movies and TV shows. The newest game sets sail – quite literally – in Hawaii.
The upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega takes place after the events of last year’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and focuses on series mainstay Goro Majima, who, after being stranded on an island and lost his memories, now leads his own pirate crew to discover a hidden treasure.
Features Of The Free Demo
While Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza will launch on February 21 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, a playable demo is already available and lets you:
- Freely explore part of the Honolulu and Madlantis locations.
- Switch between Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles.
- Test your fighting skill vs. powerful bounty enemies.
- Challenge four ship and deck battles in the Pirates’ Coliseum.
- Customize your look with a variety of outfits and accessories.
- Enjoy side experiences like karaoke with a selection of three songs.
