Monster Hunter Wilds will have an open beta, starting later this month on October 31.
Capcom has announced the dates of an open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds, which will give players the chance to hunt two brand-new monsters!
When does the open beta start?
Capcom announced the start of the open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds in their most recent showcase. PS5 players with a PS Plus subscription will be able to play three days earlier than everyone else.

Monster Hunter Wilds content included in the beta
The open beta consists of three parts:
- Character Creation
- Story Trial
- Doshaguma Hunt
Character Creation
Character creation will include all the options that will be included in the final game. Players will also be able to import their character settings from the open beta into the full version.
And of course we will not only create a hunter, but also our Palico companion.
Story Trial
In the Story Trial, we will get to see the opening cinematic, and play the Chatacabra Hunt, which provides a tutorial on how to fight monsters. The Chatacabra is a brand-new monster introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Doshaguma Hunt
In this mission, we can join up to three other hunters on the hunt for the Doshaguma Alpha. We will be able to explore a specific area of the map, which should give us a good impression of the world.
Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements
Xbox Series X|S and PS5 players must have internet access and at least 29GB of free storage space. PC players will, of course, have more specific minimum requirements:
