In an unusual move on their side, Fortnite has already published all upcoming Battle Pass skins before the start of the new season.
Typically, Fortnite Battle Pass skins get leaked shortly before the arrival of the pass - This time, Fortnite has officially published them ahead of time. Here's everything we know about Chapter 6, Season 2 so far:
New Battle Pass Skins
As leaked previously, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is another heist season. Fortnite's recent X post confirms this with seven heist-themed skins. Fitting the season's motto "dill with it", one of them is a dill pickle. Of course, every Battle Pass skin typically has multiple different edit styles and those haven't been revealed yet but we can already look at the different base skins:
First up is a female skin wearing overalls and a traffic cone hat. We don't know how effective this cone will be in protecting her from headshots but it's certainly a bold fashion choice.
Apart from the gradient braids and the cool skull hat, this skin is unfortunately rather bland - we hope it will get some more interesting edit styles! Her Cuddle Team Leader key chain is a nice Easter egg, though.
Next up is another Midas skin. Next to the original Midas, Midas Rex, Midsummer Midas, Shadow Midas, Icebound Midas, Golden Gear Midas and Ascendant Midas, this is already Fortnite's eighth Midas skin. Of course, we hope this is another reactive skin that can turn fully golden.
Regarding her hair and make-up, this female skin with a jacket full of playing card symbols could kind of remind you of Lady Gaga. Her two swords make it look like she's pretty skilled in melee combat but we'll probably learn more about her lore throughout the season.
After various food items like bananas, tacos, tomatoes, burgers, etc. have already been turned into Fortnite skins, we're now getting a gangster dill pickle. Well, every Battle Pass needs its meme skin, we guess, and at least we got the motto "dill with it" out of this skin.
The fourth and last female skin apparently had some wool left from her sweater and decided to turn it into a so-called "Balaclava", a face mask commonly associated with either robberies or skiing. Judging from the gold around her neck and hanging out of her fanny pack, it looks like her last heist was a success.
This elegantly dressed hybrid of a wolf head with a human body looks like it might land on the last side of the battle pass. Typically, these last skins have a built-in transformation emote but after Night Rose didn't get one, this apparently isn't a guarantee. Still, we're excited to see his edit styles - we just hope his coat isn't made out of wolf fur.
Fortnite X Mortal Kombat
With its new Battle Pass, Fortnite also confirmed a collaboration with Mortal Kombat. It looks like Sub-Zero is going to be part of the new Battle Pass.
Typically, these collab skins are among the Achievement Rewards, which used to mean that you needed to complete certain tasks to get it - but since Fortnite changed this system in Chapter 6, Season 1, the Achievement Rewards can now be unlocked by just collecting XP in any mode. Still, this part of the pass is usually made available a while after the rest of the pass, so you'll probably need to wait a bit longer for Sub-Zero.
Further details on this feature have not been officially confirmed but, according to (typically reliable) leakers, Sub-Zero isn't the only Mortal Kombat character coming to Fortnite as Scorpion is supposed to be made an Item Shop skin:

So while we can expect that Fortnite won't match Mortal Kombat's brutality, fans of the franchise can at least look forward to being able to use some of their favorite weapons as mythics in Battle Royale, including the iconic "Get over here!" line!
