Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 is approaching fast, and a lot of new features will come with it. We'll give you an overview.
Infinity Nikki is planning a massive update that will add a multiplayer mode and many other features!
Arrival Of Version 1.5
According to Game Rant, Version 1.5 is supposed to come out after April 28, 2025. There will also be an announcement livestream on April 25, 19:00 (UTC-7) that will explain the news in detail.
In a recent Instagram post, Infinity Nikki states "Let’s meet in the Sea of Stars on April 29 (UTC+8)!", so this might be the arrival date of the update.

And this version is possibly the biggest update yet, it brings us so many new features! They were all announced in a lengthy post on the game's official website, but we'll give you a short overview:
Camera Update
Momo's camera is getting a couple of upgrades in version 1.5:
- Vertical Photo Mode is now available on PS5 and PC. It's still in development for mobile devices due to the variety of screen types, but it's coming soon.
- Instead of having to adjust your settings every time the weather/light changes, you'll be able to save and share up to 20 personalized photo presets with friends.
- More mobility: Nikki is no longer limited to static poses - move her freely to capture the perfect shot.
- Leila Joins the Fun: The new camera merchant, Leila, arrives with tools to unlock 8 fresh poses like "Drowsy Yawning" and "Graceful Floating." More poses, filters, and items will be available soon.
- Photo Editing Tools: After taking your pics, you can rotate images, add stickers, and insert text to create unique, shareable memories.
New Storyline & Multiplayer Map
- New Multiplayer Map: Explore a unique area with fresh gameplay and optional co-op. Whether solo or with friends, enjoy the laid-back exploration at your own pace.
- Nikki’s music video "Echoes of the Stars" debuts, bringing her celestial story to life through music. Follow @InfinityNikkiEN on X for updates on this.

Custom Ability Styling
- Once an Ability Outfit is fully unlocked, you can change its appearance in the Ability Setup menu. Mix styles to create personalized ability looks.
- Some abilities need specific items (like handheld tools) to work. While you can change their visual style (e.g., different brushes for Animal-Grooming), you can’t swap in unrelated items like scissors or fishing rods - after all, fishing with scissors or grooming animals with a fishing rod would probably be slightly messy.
- Set-Exclusive Effects: Certain outfits - such as Daughter of the Lake and Spectral Mist - feature special effects that only activate when wearing the complete set.
Visual Upgrades & Ability Enhancements
With customizable ability looks now live, several Ability Outfits have been visually upgraded to make their powers more vibrant and immersive:
- Crystal Poems now includes a shimmering Purifying Orbs animation, with Nikki casting snow-glow effects using her wand. Orb colors aren't customizable yet, but are tied to future story reveals.
- Froggy Fashion evolves into the new Croaker Chorus: Whimsicality ability, summoning four Croakers for a fun choir performance. This upgrade launches during the Croaker's Whisper rerun in Version 1.5’s 4-Star Resonance phase.
- Breezy Tea Time, Shark Mirage, and Forest's Fluttering (from the permanent Resonance event) also receive animation upgrades. Their ability tools - bug net, fishing rod, and cleaning brush - now support stylish design swaps!
Glow Up & Recolor
- 5-star & 4-star outfits now unlock exclusive color variants once fully glowed up - these new hues are added automatically through the Glow Up interface.
- 3-star outfits won’t unlock variants directly, but you can now use dyeing materials to access unique color options.
Interaction & Gameplay Improvements
- Visual improvements continue across both mobile and PC platforms - full details will be shared via official channels soon.
- Gameplay refinements include smoother button interactions and new control options:
- X/Y-axis inversion support for keyboard, mouse, and controllers.
- Custom keybinding now allows combo key assignments
- Trophy Progress Adjusted: Earning Platinum on PS is now more achievable! Requirements for:
- "I Swear, This is the Last Time" (Surprise-O-Matic ×1,000) and
- "Heart Full of Wonders" (100 Iridescent Eurekas) have been made less grindy.
More Optimizations Coming in Version 1.5
- Momo’s Album Sorting Fixed: The display order issue will be corrected.
- Streamlined Main Interface: A new function hub organizes secondary features into a neat, collapsible menu for a cleaner look.
- Immersive Mode: Hide all UI elements (except the exit button and prompts) for a distraction-free experience - ideal for exploring or snapping photos, while still keeping shortcuts usable.
- Whim Calendar: Easily track event progress and manage Vital Energy with this new planning tool, now accessible from the main screen.
