A fresh leak has surfaced that might finally confirm when we’ll get our first real look at Battlefield 6 – and according to the new information, the wait could be over in just a few days.

Event Could Kick Off On July 29

According to well-known Battlefield content creator Rivalxfactor, Electronic Arts is allegedly planning a dedicated three-day event to officially unveil the next chapter in the long-running shooter franchise. If the leak is accurate, the event will kick off on July 29, 2025, and deliver not just the big reveal trailer, but also interviews with the developers, exclusive hands-on gameplay sessions, and more.

Rivalxfactor cites his own sources and a now-deleted social media post from another creator, who claims to have received a “massive” Battlefield 6 promo package in the mail. While the authenticity of this package can’t be independently verified yet, leaked images reportedly show a branded box sealed with straps labeled with classic Battlefield game modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, PTFO, and Rush – hinting that fan-favorite modes could be making a return.

If the leak holds true, the reveal event will follow a similar structure to the iconic Battlefield 1 unveiling back in 2016, where developers gave live interviews and showcased never-before-seen gameplay, followed by influencers and creators jumping into a live match in front of a global audience. Rivalxfactor also claims that an open beta is planned to go live shortly after the reveal, giving fans a chance to get their hands on the game well ahead of launch.

Aiming For Massive Reach

Up to now, EA has kept details about Battlefield 6 tightly under wraps, only confirming that a full reveal would happen sometime this summer. However, the publisher has made no secret of its ambitious goals for the next installment: according to EA’s own statements, the team aims to reach over 100 million players – an enormous target that shows how much is riding on the success of this release.

One major gameplay shift that’s already been teased is a new approach to classes and loadouts: in Battlefield 6, any class will supposedly be able to use any weapon, a big departure from the franchise’s traditional class restrictions. This change could shake up squad tactics and bring more flexibility to how battles play out on the massive maps the series is known for.

Will There Be A Battle Royale?

Alongside the new leak, rumors continue to swirl about the possible addition of a Battle Royale mode. We recently covered speculation that EA might finally jump back into the BR market with Battlefield 6, after the lukewarm reception of Firestorm in Battlefield V.

So far, EA has yet to confirm any of these details, so it’s wise to take the latest leak with a grain of salt. That said, if the July 29 date is real, we won’t have to wait long to find out whether Battlefield 6 lives up to the hype.
