Fans were still left wondering why Overwatch was given a “successor”. According to rumors, Blizzard is probably thinking the same thing.

In a Twitter post, it was revealed that Overwatch 2 will probably lose the "2" in the title. Find out about this and even more information in this article.
A Name Change... Once Again
According to leaker Ska'Vorah, the names of existing skins will be changed. Overwatch 1 skins will become “Classic” and those of the sequel will become “Valorous”. This could be because the intention behind a sequel was to release the long-awaited and now discarded PVE mode anyway.

New Skins, New Variants
Thanks to the leak, we can already take a first look at Juno's Mythic skin. Additional variants of existing Mythics are to be released along with it. These will probably be available for Competitive Coins, like the golden versions.

The Next Collaboration
Furthermore, it is highly likely that the new collaboration has something to do with the 30th anniversary of the anime “Gundam Wing”. The Genji skin shown could be a reference to this.

What Else Is New?
Apparently, several other base skins will be released. Apart from these, players report that some new voice lines have already been leaked. As to the context of these, we are only left to speculate.

What do you think of the announced skins and anime collaboration? Are you looking forward to the next season in Overwatch 2? Or 1? Even we don't know!
