Palworld is finally getting crossplay and another useful feature!
Pocketpair has announced that Palworld is getting two pretty useful new features. Here's all the information we have so far:
Palworld
Palworld is an action-adventure, survival, and monster-taming/collecting game developed and published by Pocketpair – and, let's be honest, it doesn't get its reputation of being like Pokémon with guns and questionable morals for nothing. It's available for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X & S, PS5, and Mac.
It was first released in January 2024 and is still in Early Access, so new updates and content are added on a regular basis. Despite the game's developers stating that they didn't know how much new content they'd be able to add after Nintendo and The Pokémon Company started suing them in September 2024, a new update has just been announced!
Crossplay And Transfer
On Steam, Pocketpair posted that crossplay and Pal transfer between different worlds are supposed to be added at the end of March:
This update will implement multiplayer between different platforms and the ability to move Pals between worlds. Crossplay is supported between all currently released platforms, including Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac. Please enjoy crossplay with your family and friends! For more details, please check the release notes that will be published on the day of the update. - Pocketpair
Presumably, this means that even if you're no longer active on a server/world, you can transfer your Pals to your new one and don't have to do everything all over again. Definitely a very useful feature!
