Who doesn't love a good horror game that makes you paranoid, switching on the lights at least three times to check your bedroom for uninvited visitors before you can actually fall asleep? This is exactly what Post Trauma brings to the table in 2025.

A love letter to Silent Hill and Resident Evil: Post Trauma

Survival Horror is a genre with many fans, and for good reason – nothing gets your blood pumping like a good chase or a brave fight when you're tired of running. Post Trauma by Red Soul Games is inspired by Silent Hill and Resident Evil, perfect for fans of old fashioned horror.

Post Trauma is a modern-day survival horror, inspired by genre-defining classics. You awaken to find yourself in a twisted reality full of mind-bending puzzles, breathtaking tension, and unspeakable nightmares. Will you find a way home?

Unsettling environments where every step you take is a test of bravery on its own, Post Trauma puts you in the shoes of Roman (voiced by Togo Igawa) – get ready for some torment for him, including encounters with various abominations ripped straight from nightmares. With a soundtrack that makes your hairs stand up and classic fixed camera angles, you'll feel transported back in time when you first played survival horror games as a kid with shaking hands.

Post Trauma has mysteries for you to unravel and choices to make – are you gonna fight the nightmares come to life or run as fast as your feet can carry you, only to trail back in search for more clues and puzzle-solving? Whatever you choose, the goal remains the same: getting out of this terrifying place.

The game is set to release in 2025 after a delay to polish the game – we're still waiting for an exact date, though. It releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC via Steam.

Rest assured we'll keep you updated on Post Trauma as soon as news drops! Until then, why don't you go check out the trailer?
