Stardew Valley meets the Wild West – Cattle Country launches early 2025

Combining the style and fun of Stardew Valley with a cowboy them, the game will be released for PC, the Switch and PS5.

Cowboy life simulation game Cattle Country will launch in early 2025, as announced by developer Castle Pixel and publisher Playtonic Friends. Physical editions will be available as well.

The game mixes the coziness of slice-of-life games with a touch of action adventure. Farm, mine, fish and craft through the Wild West while being confronted with themed quests full of romance, bandits and cattle drives.

You’re working on your land, raising cattle, farming vegetables and expanding your ranch, while getting to know the townsfolk, listening to their stories, songs and problems.

Watch out for shady neighbors and even bandits as well as romanceable characters to fall in love with, while you’re out there, hunting wild animals and digging for hidden treasures.

You can do everything a farmer and cowboy can wish for in a beautiful, colorful, pixel-based setting with entertaining cutscenes, funny dialogs and challenging quests that give the game and it's story depth.

The pixelated cowboy adventure will be released early in 2025 for the PlayStation 5, the Nintendo Switch and the PC via Steam – with a free demo already being available.
