Sending some chibi-styled knights and wizards into war.
In this RPG, you play Johann, captain of a zombie-fighting company to do... well, exactly that.
The PC version of Mercenaries Lament: Requiem of the Silver Wolf will be released on January 23 for PC as announced by publisher Flyhigh Works and developers Rideon Japan and Esquadra.
The RPG strategy game is set in a fantasy world with battles occurring on a quarter-view map where even the position of your characters in comparison to the opponent determines the outcome of each combat.
You can create highly strategic maneuvers by combining the special abilities of the characters of your party while you increase the skills and classes of your own to become even stronger.
The beautiful characters with rich facial expressions are drawn by illustrator Sakura Mochi.
A mercenary in a zombified land
Mercenaries like Johann, captain of the Silver Wolf Mercenary Company, get paid for clearing the lands from zombified creatures, roaming the land, after a disease with no cure spread across the continent.
After he dreamed of the Grim Reaper himself, Johann encounters a young woman with miraculous powers that seem to be able to heal people from the disease...
The gameplay features some unique skill sets and strategy-relevant options like “advent attacks” or “soul exceedings” that – determined by the members of your party – can have different effects from healing friends to causing massive damage among your enemies and mysterious orbs that might reveal hidden powers once you collected all 13 of them that are scattered across the land.
As announced by Flyhigh Works, Rideon Japan and Esquadra, Mercenaries Lament: Requiem of the Silver Wolf will be released for PC via Steam on January 23.
