After being such a surprise success on PC, Mouthwashing is now also coming to consoles.

The indie horror game Mouthwashing went so viral that it's expanding its availability, from PC to consoles:
Mouthwashing
Mouthwashing is a first-person psychological horror adventure developed by Wrong Organ and published by Critical Reflex. It was published in September 2024 for PC and quickly became viral due to its unique style and deeply disturbing storyline.
It is quite unusual for an indie horror game to be a big success, the vast majority of releases doesn't gain a lot of traction - after all, horror is a genre that not everyone wants to get into and smaller releases typically get even less attention in a genre that's already not as popular as others.
Nonetheless, every once in a while, an indie horror game manages to garner a larger audience - Outlast, Amnesia, The Forest and, recently, Mouthwashing. It's no wonder that this game stood out to people, it tackles taboo topics and contains disturbing images and shocking plot twists.
Expansion To New Platforms
In an announcement published in the community hub of Mouthwashing's Steam page, developer Wrong Organ reveals the game has sold over 500,000 copies on Steam. This has enabled it to expand to more platforms, which is why it's coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch in 2025!
Currently, there is no official date on when it's exactly coming to these two consoles, we just know it's supposed to happen this year. If you are planning to get the game, just know it contains content that can be triggering to some people - but if you're not bothered by that, it might open the door to a very dedicated fan community and spark some interesting philosophical discussions!
