Critter Café seems like the perfect game to relax with and pass the time. But what exactly does this playful anime-styled simulator have to offer?

Since October 14th, players have been able to try the demo of Critter Café, diving into the charming simulation from Sumo Newcastle.

Critter Café puts you in charge of running a café in a whimsical world, where your mission includes rescuing mysterious creatures known as Critters.

As of today, November 26, 2024, the game is officially available on Nintendo Switch and PC.

The latest trailer provides a delightful glimpse into the game:

Take care of your critters

As the name suggests, Critters are your most valuable guests. These adorable creatures visit your café and need to be pampered and kept happy.

This involves serving a variety of dishes and beverages tailored to your "critical" guests. You’ll take orders, deliver meals, and ensure maximum satisfaction for your customers

More Features

Critters don’t just wander in – they often need rescuing. Through mysterious portals, you’ll discover unique creatures waiting to be freed.

To find new Critters, you’ll solve puzzles in these magical portals and explore enchanting worlds. For collectors, the game offers the joy of amassing a diverse array of Critters.

You can interact with these creatures and build friendships, unlocking new content such as special events or exclusive decorations. Each Critter has its own personality and can either interact with you directly or serve as an attraction for your café.

Naturally, the ambiance matters too. A good cup of coffee is best enjoyed in a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Personalize and renovate your café to attract as many Critters as possible.

Instead of earning coins, you’ll collect experience points (XP), which serve as the digital currency in Critter Café and can be used for upgrades and improvements.

These XP points can also be earned by completing daily quests, which are more varied and engaging than one might expect.

The first impressions show that the charming simulation game is visually stunning:

The game combines charming simulation elements with a lighthearted, humorous style, offering a relaxing player experience.

Its atmosphere and creatures are reminiscent of the laid-back gameplay in Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, which also incorporate social aspects. Collecting resources, a central element in both these games, is also a key mechanic in Critter Café.

The game is perfect for fans of casual and management-style games.
