Blizzard has revealed what's planned for the 11.1.5 WoW content update - and we have all the relevant information for you!
2025 is a busy year for World of Warcraft - two major updates, Siren Isle and Undermine(d) have already been added and the next one is around the corner. Here's everything Blizzard has revealed so far:
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1.5
In a post on their official website, Blizzard Entertainment has announced everything the upcoming content update entails. We'll break all of the different aspects down for you.
Defend the Arathi in the Nightfall Scenario
In the Nightfall Scenario, players join the new faction Flame’s Radiance to defend the Arathi against the Sureki forces after Queen Ansurek’s defeat. Led by veterans Thaed Pyremaker and Mylton Wyldbraun, players will rise through ten Renown levels, unlocking rewards as they progress.
During the scenario, players will be assigned to different task forces to clear battlefields and push back the Sureki. Additional quests and activities in Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet will help earn more Renown.
Rewards include new armor, a tabard that changes visually as players rank up, weapons, a new Delver’s Dirigible color, and buffs to enhance strength in specific areas.
Dastardly Duos
Later in the patch cycle, players can participate in a six-week event featuring cosmetics, toys, and dungeon items.
Hosted by Vinnie Sweets, Dastardly Duos challenges players to battle animatronic versions of past bosses, gaining power-ups and competing for high scores. Players will fight two or more bosses at a time, aiming for the best score.
Three hubs in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dornogal will let players queue for fights via Xiggie Marou, while Wodin, the Troll-Servant vendor, offers additional power-ups over time.
Each week, new bosses will be added, reaching a total of ten. Achievements grant in-game effects, and points are awarded for kills, damage, and more—giving players a chance to climb the leaderboard and show off their skills!
Horrific Visions Revisited
Players will revisit N’Zoth’s corrupted Stormwind and Orgrimmar in Horrific Visions, completing objectives while managing their sanity to avoid failure.
The mode can be tackled solo or with a group, with the option to summon a Construct of Soridormi companion who can Tank, DPS, or Heal without being affected by sanity.
For greater challenges, players can activate higher difficulties for better gear, including Heroic-level items. Horrific Vision Masks are returning, along with three new ones to discover.
A new currency, Displaced Corrupted Mementos, allows players to purchase past rewards. New rewards include mounts, toys, transmogs, weapon enchantments, and more.
UI Update
Lastly, a new Cooldown Manager UI update is being introduced, allowing players to track class ability cooldowns more effectively. This feature can be customized through the edit mode within the UI for a personalized experience.
