The Moonken Monks As Last Hope

The game tells the story of Raziel Tenza, a Twilight Monk descendant, who wants to stop the traitor Nox, who tries to conquer the land of Speria. While vicious monsters are ravaging the villages around, the last survivors gather at Crescent Isle’s monastery, seeking help from the Moonken Monks – with Raziel being their last hope.

Hidden Treasures And Secrets In Hand-Drawn Dungeons

With its beautiful hand-drawn style and its 2.5D perspective, Twilight Monk mixes action RPG elements with the exploration aspects of metroidvanian games in a unique way. In a richly crafted fantasy setting the game features narrative depth, stunning dungeon hubs and a fun level-up mechanic.

Twilight Monk features:

  • Dungeons full of puzzles, secrets and hidden treasures you can and will revisit once you gain new powers and abilities to find new passages in a metroidvanian way.
  • An Overworld Map reminiscent of classic JRPGs, connecting the various dungeons.
  • A unique weapon, the Phantom Pillar that can be used for platforming, battle, blocking enemy attacks, or even to activate mechanisms and solve puzzles.
  • A world created via beautiful hand-drawn 2D illustrations.

Twilight Monk will launch for Switch and PC via Steam in March as announced by developer Aquatic Moon and publisher Gravity Game Arise. The Metroidvania action RPG is already playable as a free demo until March 3.
