A review of the upcoming game Black Myth: Wukong has apparently been leaked.
A few weeks before the official release of Black Myth: Wukong, a supposed review has been leaked on Reddit.
Better Than Elden Ring?
The review focuses on the tester's experience in the first few hours. Because of spoilers, we will not go into too much detail. What really excited us was the "incredible variety of bosses, maps, and enemies" and the "addictive combat that makes you want to try other builds," as the tester wrote.
Overall, the reviewer saw the game as "a mixture of Sekiro and God of War". The perfect meal for those who are done with the Elden Ring DLC but still want more of the good old Soulslike recipe. But will it be able to dethrone the king?
Can We Trust This Leak?
Even though these leak got us hyped, it still seems dubious to us. First, the original source: 4chan. Everyone on the internet knows that 4chan has more trolls than Skyrim.
And second, the content of the review is questionable. The tester said that there were stuttering due to Denuvo (a copyright system), but how were they going to be able to know that this is a problem caused by the Digital Rights Management (DRM) and not by the engine. Black Myth: Wukong uses the Unreal 5 engine, which is known to have problems that cause stuttering.
Maybe the leaks are too good to be true, but either way, all we can do now is wait for the official release on August 20.
Are you excited about Black Myth: Wukong or have you had enough Soulslike for now?
