Dplus dominated the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 Group Stage Day 1. Tianba and D'Xavier also delivered strong performances. However, DRX and POWR eSports fell short on Day 1. The top 12 teams will advance to the Main Stage, while the rest will move on to the Survival Stage.

PMWC 2024 Group Stage Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 - Sanhok
Dplus performed exceptionally well and managed to secure a Chicken Dinner, earning 20 points. D'Xavier managed to secure 12 points. 4Merical Vibes earned second place and got 13 points; 10 of them came from eliminations. POWR eSports & Brute Force managed to secure 8 points each. Unfortunately, REJECT and DRX were eliminated with 1 and 0 points respectively.
Match 2 - Erangel
Tianba displayed a remarkable performance in the second game and secured a 19 point Chicken Dinner. Tianba gained 21 points with 16 huge elimination points. QZZ from Tianba was named the MVP with 6 finishes. Beşiktaş Black and Yoodo Alliance gained 10 and 9 points respectively. Brute Force, POWR eSports & Dplus were eliminated without any points.
Match 3 - Erangel
REJECT put on an impressive performance in the third game, securing a 23-point, with 17 elimination points. Meanwhile, Beşiktaş Black earned an 18-point Chicken Dinner in this match. Sara from REJECT was named the MVP with 6 finishes. Dplus & BOOM Esports gained 11 & 7 points respectively. Unfortunately, Brute Force and Yoodo Alliance were both eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 4 - Erangle
Yoodo Alliance did exceptionally well securing a Chicken Dinner with 17 points. Dplus & Alpha7 Esports earned 16 points each. Money Makers secured 10 points, while Brute Force and CAG OSAKA managed to claim 9 points each. 6 teams including DRX, POWR eSports & BOOM Esports earned only 1 point. Beşiktaş Black & Tianba were eliminated without any points.
Match 5 - Miramar
Money Makers earned a 16-point Chicken Dinner in Miramar, while Brute Force came in second with 15 points. Neoz from Brute Force was named the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. Yoodo Alliance and Tianba claimed the third and fourth spot with 13 & 12 points respectively, followed by BOOM Esports in fifth place with a total of 8 points. Unfortunately, Alpha7 Esports and DRX were eliminated without any points.
Match 6 - Miramar
4Merical Vibes won the final map with a 25-point Chicken Dinner. D'Xavier secured second place with 17 points. Tianba secured the third position with 11 points. IW NRX & Dplus obtained 7 points each. Beşiktaş Black, Alpha7 Esports and Brute Force struggled in this match and were eliminated early, scoring nil.
