Former Ted Lasso star teases the return of the beloved Apple TV+ series in interview.
In an interview with The Direct, Moe Hashim (who played soccer player Moe Bumbercatch) gave us a sign of life for the successful series of Ted Lasso. This was not the first time in the past.
Who Knows When It Will Happen?
Moe Hashim was very optimistic in the interview, saying that "I don't think this is the end of Ted Lasso," but at the same time he doesn't know how long it will take for him to come back. In the end, it seems to be just a matter of time.
This may not seem like a great thing for the show's near future, but it wasn't the first person working on Ted Lasso to think about the funny soccer coach's return.
Director Saw The Final As An Early End
Back in August 2023, a few months after the release of the final episode Declan Lowney, Director of the last episode talked with The Hollywood Reporter about the Final. In this interview also mentioned
Everybody knew it was the end, but it’s also the end for now. (Laughs.) It’s going to be two or three years before anything happens – if anything happens...
How and when Ted Lasso will return to Apple TV remains to be seen, but as one of Apple's most successful series, Ted Lasso has every right to return.
