HoYoverse recently shared some big news with regard to the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. They confirmed that two new characters, Chasca and Ororon, are joining the game in the upcoming update 5.2, which is expected to drop at the end of November 2024. Chasca will likely be a five-star character, while Ororon might have a four-star rarity. Furthermore, Chasca will use Anemo (wind) powers, and Ororon will have Electro (lightning) abilities.

Chasca
Chasca has been introduced as the "Skyborne Arbiter" and the "Peacemaker of the Tlalocan," which is part of the Flower-Feather Clan in Natlan. This character isn’t just another face; Chasca is tied into Genshin Impact’s lore, appearing in the Natlan storyline and even in a game teaser video called "A Name Forged in Flames."
Some say her gameplay might let her hover in the air, similar to Wanderer, another Anemo character. She also seems to have a cool gun mechanic linked to her Nightsoul points, which could be a fresh way to deal damage.

Ororon
Ororon goes by the title "Shadow of the Night-Wind," and he’s part of a tribe known as the Masters of the Night-Wind. Not much is known about his gameplay yet, but fans are already guessing he might have some connection to the Fatui Harbingers, one of the game’s most powerful enemy groups. Even if he’s only a four-star character, his story connections make him one to keep an eye on.

Genshin Impact 5.2 Banner Reruns
Besides the new characters, update 5.2 will also bring back some old favorites from the Mondstadt region. Here's what the leaks are saying:
- Albedo - Five-star Geo sword user
- Venti - Five-star Anemo character
- Klee - Five-star Pyro character
