Krafton India Esports has confirmed that BGIS 2026 registrations run from December 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026, on the official website. The main tournament will start on January 8, 2026 and continue all the way to March 29, 2026, making it one of the longest BGMI circuits so far.
This fifth edition of the India Series carries a prize pool of 2 crore rupees, the same as 2023 and 2024, after the 3.2 crore record in 2025. With BGIS 2026 registrations open, thousands of underdog and pro teams are expected to sign up and test themselves against the best in the country.

Tournament format after you register
Once BGIS 2026 registrations close, the real grind begins with ten stages from January to March. It all starts with In-game Qualifiers from January 8 to 14, where all registered teams play matches to try and reach Round 1.
- The top 1016 teams from In-game Qualifiers move to Round 1, joining 8 invited Grind teams to make 1024 teams.
- Round 1 (Jan 26 to Feb 1) and Round 2 (Feb 5 to 8) slowly cut the field down, with more Grind teams joining at each step.
- Round 3 and Round 4 continue from February 12 to 22, filtering teams into the Quarter Finals.
From February 26 onward, the format gets even tougher with Quarter Finals, a Wildcard Stage, Semifinals, and a Survival Stage, all leading to the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals from March 27 to 29. The final 16 teams will battle on LAN for the 2 crore prize pool and the title of BGIS 2026 champions.
