The BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2025, organised by Nodwin Gaming, is India’s premier Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament—and this year, the stakes are higher than ever. With 48 teams from across the country competing for glory, the official prize pool distribution has now been confirmed, marking a major milestone for competitive BGMI in India.

  • Number of teams earning a share: 28
  • MVP prize: ₹1 lakh

This is the biggest prize pool in BGMS history—proof that Indian mobile esports is reaching international standards. Only the top 28 teams across the Masters and Challengers series will take home cash prizes, with the lion’s share going to the champions.

No matter where you finish between 1st and 28th, you get paid—rewards that go deeper than ever before. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament will also receive a separate ₹1 lakh award for outstanding individual performance.

Who’s Playing?

The Masters Series features 24 elite teams—including powerhouses like Team 8Bit, Orangutan, Team Soul, GodLike, Revenant XSpark, and Gods Reign, plus rising stars and revamped rosters eager to make a splash.

The Challengers Series (BGCS) brings in another 24 teams, including four female squads—a first for BGMS. The top four Challengers will advance to the main event’s playoffs for a shot at the big money.

BGMS 2025 Format

BGMI Masters Series 2025 kicks off on August 18, 2025, and runs through September 14.

The Grand Finals—set for September 12–14—will see 16 teams (top four from the Masters League Stage and top 12 from the playoffs) battle it out for the trophy and the biggest payouts.
