CharanJot Singh has been crowned the champion of the PlayStation India Cup Season 4 featuring EA SPORTS FC 26, at Comic Con Delhi 2025.
In a spectacular display of skill and strategy, CharanJot Singh secured the title of national champion at the PlayStation India Cup featuring EA SPORTS FC 26. The grand finale took place at the NODWIN Gaming Arena inside Delhi Comic Con, drawing crowds of gaming enthusiasts and fans who witnessed intense console esports action live on stage.
CharanJot's Journey to Victory
The road to the championship was grueling. The tournament began with an online phase featuring nationwide weekly qualifiers, followed by intense double-elimination playoffs. India’s best EA SPORTS FC 26 competitors battled through a Double Elimination, Best-of-2 (Home & Away) format to secure their place at the national final.
The final eight contenders, CharanJot Singh, Afnan Khan, Karman Tikka, Chaitanya Singh, Amaanuddin Warsi, Saransh Jain, Aditya Chadha, and Jahaan Khan, advanced to the LAN Finale at Comic Con Delhi.
The finale followed the same Double Elimination Best-of-2 structure across two days, ensuring that only the most consistent and resilient players would rise to the top.
FC 26 PlayStation India Cup Grand Finale Showdown
The climax of the tournament saw CharanJot Singh face off against Aditya Chadha in a decisive series. Singh’s tactical play and composure under pressure allowed him to secure the championship title, while Chadha put up a valiant fight to finish as the runner-up. Karman Singh Tikka also delivered an impressive performance, pushing through the lower bracket to claim third place.
The matches were characterised by close aggregate scores and decisive second-leg turnarounds, making this one of the most competitive editions of the tournament to date. The high-stakes environment at Delhi Comic Con added to the excitement, with attendees cheering on their favourite players.
Prizes and Recognition
The total prize pool for the tournament was ₹4,00,000. CharanJot Singh took home the top prize of ₹1,20,000, while Aditya Chadha received ₹80,000, and Karman Singh Tikka earned ₹50,000. In addition to the cash prizes, all eight finalists were awarded a PlayStation DualSense Edge controller as part of their finalist rewards.
Beyond the tournament, the PlayStation India booth at Comic Con Delhi was a hub of activity.
