Revenant XSpark has made history for Indian esports, becoming the first team from the country to secure a top-four finish at the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025.
The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 turned into a landmark moment for India when Revenant XSpark (RNTX) broke into the global top four. Playing on the biggest stage in Supercell’s mobile esports, the team showed that Indian lineups can go toe-to-toe with the world’s best. Their journey ended in the semi-finals, but the run itself has set a new benchmark for Indian organisations and players.
Revenant XSpark's Historic top-4 finish at Brawl Stars World Finals 2025
Revenant XSpark’s campaign concluded with a 3-0 loss to Italian side HMBLE in the semi-finals, but by then they had already secured their place in history as the first Indian team to reach the top four at a Brawl Stars World Finals. In the grand finals, Crazy Racoon swept HMBLE 3-0 to lift the trophy, rounding off a stacked final four that also featured SK Gaming alongside RNTX.
The Indian roster for the event featured Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Raj Singh, Jayden “x9Jay” Wong, and Jerome “Response” Kuek, a trio that consistently delivered under pressure. Backed by Revenant Esports, the squad showcased a mix of Indian and Singaporean talent that clicked at exactly the right time.
Group Stage: From setback to statement
RNTX was placed in Group A, a four-team double-elimination group that immediately tested their resilience.
- They opened with a tough 0-3 loss to SK Gaming, putting them on the brink of elimination.
- In the elimination match, they bounced back with a 3-1 win over Space Station Gaming.
- In a nail-biting decider, Revenant XSpark edged out NOVO Esports 3-2 to secure second place in the group.
They finished Group A with a 2-1 match record and a 6-6 game score, enough to move into the playoffs behind group leaders SK Gaming. It was a classic comeback story: from an opening sweep against them to clutching back-to-back wins when every map mattered.
Playoff run and semi-final heartbreak
In the quarterfinals, Revenant XSpark produced one of the standout series of the tournament against Brazilian powerhouse LOUD. The best-of-five went the distance, with RNTX eventually closing it out 3-2 in a tense finish where Sergeant Clash emerged as the key playmaker and de facto MVP of the series.
Their semi-final against HMBLE was far more one-sided. The Italian squad, in top form, shut down Revenant XSpark 3-0, ending the Indian team’s title hopes but still guaranteeing them a shared third–fourth place finish on the world stage.
Well, Revenant XSpark had already taken a difficult path just to reach this stage, qualifying for the World Finals through the Last Chance Qualifier held in Brazil earlier in the season. That underdog route, followed by a top-four finish in the main event, makes this run even more impressive.
