IShowSpeed makes his comeback to Twitch after four years, kicking off his next IRL tour in Europe.

Popular content creator Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins has confirmed that he’s returning to Twitch on July 7, 2025 — a platform he hasn’t streamed on since May 2021.
This long-awaited return comes as part of the second leg of his European IRL tour, which will be broadcast simultaneously on both Twitch and YouTube starting at 7:00 AM Eastern.
IShowSpeed’s Comeback to Twitch After a Four-Year Ban
The keyword “IShowSpeed is returning to Twitch” has been trending as fans react to his first Twitch stream in four years. His absence began in late 2021, when Twitch banned him following accusations of sexual intimidation during a live broadcast hosted by Adin Ross. Though Twitch lifted the ban in October 2023, Speed continued to stream exclusively on YouTube, where he now boasts over 41.4 million subscribers.
His Twitch comeback now coincides with the start of his new European tour, which will take him to France, Finland, Croatia, and Greece. The announcement was confirmed via his official X account:

Where Is IShowSpeed Going?
Speed’s second European tour follows his highly successful 2024 summer tour, which spanned several countries and attracted over 2.5 billion views across platforms. He also recently completed a China IRL tour, streaming over 35 hours in just seven sessions.
This time, his travel itinerary includes:
- France
- Finland
- Croatia
- Greece
Though the full schedule hasn’t been revealed, fans can expect a mix of live travel content, gaming segments, and the spontaneous chaos that defines Speed’s streaming style.
Ongoing Controversy and Criticism
Despite the hype surrounding his return, many viewers and critics remain divided. The nature of his 2021 ban — involving serious allegations of misconduct — has reignited debates over how Twitch handles creators with troubling past behaviour.
While the platform did remove IShowSpeed at the time, the lifting of his ban and now his return to monetized streams raise questions about Twitch’s community standards.
Regardless of the controversy, IShowSpeed’s return to Twitch is expected to draw huge viewer numbers. His first Twitch stream in over four years — paired with a live IRL tour through Europe — is a major moment for his brand and for Twitch itself.
His future content will likely include:
- IRL vlogs from tourist spots
- Gaming segments during downtime
- Live reactions and social interactions
- Spontaneous moments that fans adore
But as his viewership grows, so does the pressure on platforms like Twitch to ensure behavioural standards are upheld.
