New LoL leaks lead to rumors about new champions, seasons and other updates.
After some leaks had surfaced, we might know a lot about the direction League of Legends will go in the following year.
Following the huge success of Arcane’s second season, it seems like Riot is fully leaning into League of Legends’ upcoming content. According to some leaks there will be reworks, a special themed season and another champion from the show coming to LoL.
Next to a rework of Viktor’s visual appearance and his gameplay, there will be a Noxus-themed season and the daughter of Ambessa Medarda, our dearest Mel from Arcane, as a champion in 2025.
Mel Medarda joins the League of Legends roster
We don’t know yet what she'll be capable of or how the Noxus season will unfold, but since there already have been some leaks earlier about Mel Medarda coming to LoL, we’re absolutely sure that she will be one of the first champions of 2025.
She will probably have the same type of arcane magic and a power level mirroring her status at the end of the show.

Noxus and it’s champions
After Swain was teased at the end of Arcane’s second season, it’s not really surprising that Noxus will be the next important region with a season themed around Noxus and that, similar to Viktor, characters from there will get a VGU. Most likely it will be LeBlanc, considering the important role of the Black Rose in the events of Arcane.
But there is also the possibility of more dated models like Vladimir or Talon getting an update to how they look and play.
Present in Legends of Runeterra, Atakhan as well is set to become a new neutral boss. In a leaked map shown by YouTuber BigBadBear we can see Atakhan’s helmet next to a lane with black roses blooming from it.
Even though nothing is completely certain so far, we're confident that 2025 will be a big year for League of Legends, not only because of the development of an MCU-like cinematic universe, but also because of the updates and the new content the game itself will receive.
