Champion Adjustments

K'Sante

Riot Phroxzon outlined that Marksmen seem to be in a decent spot with some good snowballing potential after the 14.10 mid-season update. He also added that with changes to gold and experience, they can now keep up with solo laners as well, so we aren't going to see too many adjustments there yet.

We will have some changes though to K'Sante who once again dominated an international tournament – namely MSI – and therefore will be getting some changes in this patch.

Caitlyn

Ornn

Choo Choo Ornn

Passive – Living Forge
  • Every legendary item can now be upgraded
  • [Removed] Unique Ornn Item Names
  • Still only upgrades 1 item per champion
  • Upgrades are roughly 1K worth of stats

With these changes, every item can now be upgraded. The first item in someone's inventory will be the one to be upgraded by Ornn. Unfortunately, with this, Riot will get rid of unique Ornn item names, and now it will just say "Masterwork" behind the item when upgraded.

LoL Patch 14.11: System Buffs & Nerfs

System Nerfs

Infinity Edge seems to be the only Marksmen item that's a bit too good right now. That's why Riot is going to nerf it just a bit so it's at the same level as all the other items in this category.

  • Collector
    • Lethality: 15 >>> 12
  • Infinity Edge
    • Bonus Crit Damage: 50% >>> 40%

System Buffs

Statikk Shiv hasn't found its target yet, which is why Riot is going to be buffing the item this time around. There are a few more system buffs as well, being planned for LoL Patch 14.11.

  • Absorb Life
    • Heal: 2–17 >>> 2–20
  • Cut Down
    • Health Threshold: 60% >>> 50%
  • Immortal Shieldbow
    • Shield: 320–530 (lvl 11–18) >>> 320–720 (lvl 7–18)
  • Statikk Shiv
    • Hearthbound Axe replaces Rectrix
    • Cost: 2900 >>> 2800
    • AD: 50 >>> 55
    • Attack Speed: 40% >>> 45%
    • [NEW] 7% Move Speed
    • Minion Damage: 90 >>> 120

System Adjustments

Essence Reaver and Collector will be getting adjusted, as well as the lane swap meta which has taken over the professional scene. While Riot does think that the lane swaps are interesting and fun, they don't want them to be a part of the game for every match, hence why they want to make some changes going forward.

While we think some of [lane swaps] was teams adapting to player matchup diffs over time, in some cases, it's more optimal than we'd like (eg. double ranged bot lanes). While a few lane swaps every now and then is favorable for the viewer experience, every game is too far. We'll be adjusting the fortification and first turret gold values as a result.
  • Essence Reaver vs. Collector
  • Lane Swapping
    • Fortification damage reduction: 50% >>> 75%

Arena Balance Changes In LoL Patch 14.11

After Riot made some bigger changes in LoL Patch 14.11, Riot will focus on nerfing some of the outliers, especially fighter who are excelling, while also buffing weaker champions. Healing is also going to be seeing a nerf across the board in Arena.

Champion Buffs

  • Ekko
  • Fizz
  • LeBlanc
  • Corki
  • Viktor
  • Ziggs
  • Akshan

Corki is getting some nerfs reverted after his mid-scope update, which was released in LoL Patch 14.10. These previous nerfs don't make sense anymore in his current iteration.

Champion Nerfs

  • Darius
  • Vi
  • Kayn (Rhaast)
  • Gragas
  • Garen
  • Trundle
  • Vlad
  • Aatrox
  • Briar

Many fighters are on the nerf list, since this is one of the best roles for a game mode like Arena.

Along with Arena and Summoner's Rift, Riot is also going to have some adjustments for ARAM champions. The team will remove and change some of the buff and nerf modifiers on champions where it doesn't make as much sense anymore.

Champion Buffs

  • Corki
  • Ezreal
  • Yasuo
  • Yone
  • Miss Fortune

Champion Nerfs

Riot is also going to bring back the Infernal skin line in 2024. Three skins have been added and will be released with the patch. This is a smaller and filler skin line, with most fans waiting for the T1 skins, as well as the Hall of Fame Faker skin to be released.

  • Infernal Ashe
  • Infernal Karma
  • Infernal Olaf

These skins are all Epic skins and will cost 1350 RP. The skins will be available on May 30, 2024 when the League of Legends patch drops.
