The in-game qualifiers for the BGMI India Series (BGIS) are currently taking place from April 15th to April 21st. This tournament is important for players and Krafton because it brings underdog teams to the BGIS main event. Additionally, this event ensures that every team gets a chance to participate. The main event of BGIS 2024 features a prize pool of INR 2 Crores.
BGIS 2024 In-Game Qualifiers Details
In its official announcement, Krafton stated that the BGMI India Series event's in-game qualifiers would take place from April 15th to April 21st. The top 1024 performing teams will qualify to play in round one of BGIS 2024. To participate in the in-game qualifiers, players must register their teams exclusively through the Krafon website. Each team will be given 15 matches, out of which the 10 best matches will be taken into account. Based on these matches, the top 1024 teams will advance to BGIS Round 1.

According to Rule 3.3, Team Names and Logos, in the BGIS Rulebook 2024, the name of a team must be chosen during registration and cannot be changed during the Tournament without the prior written approval of the Tournament Officials.4.1 Player Equipment Rule says that players are only allowed to participate in Tournaments or Official Competitions by using mobile phones or approved handheld devices. Peripheral devices of any kind, including tablets, adapters, controllers, Bluetooth keyboards, and mice, cannot be used without explicit written approval from Tournament Officials. The use of an emulator to play on a PC or any other device that is not a handheld device is strictly prohibited.

The BGIS 2024 event will feature 1024 teams divided into 64 groups of 16 teams. Each group will play three matches from May 2 to May 5, 2024.The point system for the game implies that players must play aggressively to advance to the next round. A WWCD (winning with chicken dinner) awards only 10 points, and teams will need to secure 9 to 10 Chicken Dinners to qualify. Additionally, they must achieve at least 20-25 finishes are required too.
