A new leak claims that Marvel Rivals will get seven new characters like Angela, Hit-Monkey, Deadpool, and more

Marvel Rivals was launched earlier this month and has received generally great reviews from the community. While Marvel is better known for its superhero movies, its sub-brand, Marvel Games, develops and publishes decent titles revolving around said superheroes.
Marvel Rivals is the latest in a string of such titles and a leak claims that its roster is about to get an update. While the well-known superheroes, like Captain America and Iron Man, were already included at launch, the less popular super guys and gals scavenged from the annals of Marvel comics might be joining the gang.

The audience has a medley of positive, neutral, and negative reactions to this. Some people are unmoved, claiming that this leak is old news and that these characters were already known to be joining the roster from the day the game was released. In fact, this leak misses some critical characters, like Ultron, all of the Fantastic Four except Sue Storm, and Blade. Some of these last-mentioned characters seem to have had their full kits datamined already.
Others are readily reprimanding Marvel for not including characters like Deadpool and Jean Gray in the release roster, given that they are among the most popular superheroes of all time. The counter theory is that the developers saved such big characters, like Deadpool, so that if and when the sales numbers dropped, they'd put them in the roster to drive the sales up again.
Some fans would've liked Marvel to focus some resources on the villain side too. Some major supervillains are missing from Marvel Rivals, like Thanos, Killmonger, Dr. Doom, Green Goblin, Doc Ock, etc. Perhaps Ghost Rider and Daredevil could also be included here. Finally, a small segment of people are impressed, applauding Marvel's effort to increase an already huge roster of 33 superheroes.
Now, whichever faction of the audience you belong to, just keep in mind to take this leak with a grain of salt. Remember, nothing is confirmed until it is officially so.
