The upcoming Wuthering Waves Version 2.8 update is already generating hype, and much of it is centred on the introduction of Chisa, a striking 5-star Broadblade Resonator with a JK-inspired design.

Thanks to trusted leakers like Hiragara, Ruben, and early guides from community sources, the complete list of Chisa materials needed for ascension and Forte (skill) upgrades has now surfaced.

Wuthering Waves Chisa Ascension Materials

To fully ascend Chisa to her maximum level, you’ll need the following resources:

  • Abyssal Husk ×46
  • Wintry Bell ×60
  • LF Polygon Core ×4
  • MF Polygon Core ×12
  • HF Polygon Core ×12
  • FF Polygon Core ×4
  • Shell Credits ×170,000

How to Farm Chisa Ascension Mats?

  • Abyssal Husk: Obtained by defeating the Lady of the Sea, a boss introduced in Version 2.4 and made farmable in Capitoline Hill from Version 2.6. It can also be tracked through the Boss Challenge menu for faster farming.
  • Wintry Bell: A flower local to Huanglong, farmable in the Gorges of Spirits near Tolling Stream. The most efficient method is teleporting to a nearby Resonance Nexus/Beacon and following a farming route. Up to 15 can also be purchased for 45,000 Shell Credits from Koko’s Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou.
  • Polygon Cores (LF/MF/HF/FF): Dropped by common enemies like Autopuppet Scouts, Tranquilites, Junrocks, and Prisms. Higher rarities can also be obtained in Supply Packs, or alternatively, by completing Forgery Challenges in Rinascita.

Wuthering Waves Chisa Skill (Forte) Level-Up Materials

Upgrading Chisa’s Forte abilities will require a much larger pool of resources compared to her ascension:

  • Waveworn Residue 210 ×25
  • Waveworn Residue 226 ×28
  • Waveworn Residue 235 ×55
  • Waveworn Residue 239 ×67
  • LF Polygon Core ×25
  • MF Polygon Core ×28
  • HF Polygon Core ×40
  • FF Polygon Core ×57
  • New Boss Material ×26 (to be introduced in 2.7 or 2.8)
  • Shell Credits ×2,030,000

How to Farm Chisa Forte Materials?

  • Waveworn Residues: Obtained from Forgery Challenges like the Eroded Ruins (Huanglong) and Garden of Adoration (Rinascita). They can also drop from Supply Packs.
  • Polygon Cores: Same sources as ascension, but farming efficiency needs to be scaled up given the higher numbers required.
  • New Boss Material: Still TBA, but expected to drop from the upcoming weekly boss launching in Version 2.7, designed to drop exclusive materials for Chisa and future Resonators.

WuWa Chisa Weapon Materials

While official details about Chisa’s signature Broadblade weapon have not yet been revealed, leaks suggest that players will likely need Howler Cores and Metallic Drip series materials, much like other 5-star weapons.

For now, it’s best to pre-farm these in Forgery Challenges until more details become available.

All in all, the leaked WuWa Chisa materials confirm that this upcoming 5-star Broadblade Resonator will demand significant preparation. With Polygon Cores, Waveworn Residues, Abyssal Husks, and Wintry Bells, alongside a yet-to-be-confirmed weekly boss drop, her build path is one of the most resource-heavy so far in WuWa.

For dedicated Rovers planning to add Chisa to their roster, now is the time to start farming in Septimont, Rinascita, and Huanglong.
