Skyesports has announced that the Indian qualifiers for the Pokemon Unite WCS 2024 tournament will take place on May 11th and 12th, 2024. The winner of the tournament will represent India at the World Championship in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pokémon UNITE WCS 2024 INDIA Qualifiers Registration Details
Registration for this event opened on April 12, 2024 and will close on May 9, 2024. Teams interested in participating in this major tournament can visit the Skyesports website.
Here are The Eligibility Rules for the Tournament
- Only players who have not already qualified to participate in the PJCS 2024 Pokémon UNITE Division or the Pokémon UNITE World Championships 2024 Honolulu Tournament may participate.
- According to the Rulebook, At the time of entry and during the Program period, players must have a valid Start.gg account or designated site account.
- Every Player must be over 16 years of age to participate, Minors are also required parental permission in order to participate.
Tournament Structure
This is an open tournament in a Single Elimination Bracket format on 11th May 2024. Every match will be Best of 3(Bo3).The top 8 teams from Day 1 of the India Tournament will qualify to participate in Day 2 of the India Tournament.
In day 2, teams will participate in a Double Elimination Bracket-format. The 8 teams that made it through Day 1 of the India Tournament will compete until only 1 team remains.
The winning team from Day 2 of the India Tournament will qualify to participate in the WCS2024 Honolulu Tournament and will receive the Travel Allowance.

The total prize pool of this tournament is $37,500.
The World Championship for 2024 is scheduled to be held from August 16 to 18, with a grand prize of $500,000. The competition will feature sixteen of the best teams from around the world, vying for the coveted title of world champions. In the previous years, Revenant Esports and S8UL Esports represented India in the years 2022 and 2023, respectively. The 2024 India Qualifier will be held to determine the team that will represent the country this year.
