Fortiche and Riot Games are cooking right now as they prepare for the release of Arcane Season 2. Fans finally got a few drops of water after a long wait and now a brand-new teaser released on official channels highlighting the relationship of two unlikely partners.
Arcane Season 2 will likely kick off where season 1 ended, hopefully answering fans questions and well one odd relationship was hinted at the end of season 1 and that was none other than Heimerdinger and Ekko. The pair meet, and then it's never explained whether they team up or not... well, the new teaser provides some explanation.
Arcane Season 2: Heimerdinger And Ekko Team Up
While fans of season 1 know that Ekko and Heimerdinger will work together in some shape or form, how this duo would look like has been kept a secret. Well, in a recent clip shared on the official Arcane social media, gives fans insight into the workings of this unlikely pair.
In the clip, we see the two trying to sneak into the Academy in Piltover, with Heimerdinger dressed as one of the Fireflights. The clip might only be 17 seconds short, but it's filled with comedic relief and a fun dynamic that we can't get enough of.

Heimerdinger, the head of the academy, sneaking into his own is already comedic enough, but add in the little Yordle creating his very own code phrases on the spot with a bewildered Ekko behind him, and you've got an amazing comedic duo with a generational gap like no other.
Fans are also even more excited after this short clip, and it seems that November, when Arcane will release, can't come soon enough for fans. An exact release date has not been revealed yet, but we know it'll be after the 2024 World Championship. Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix.
