Henry Cavill's latest post on Instagram pokes fun at DCEU's Justice League, referencing a certain mustache situation.
Deadpool & Wolverine has been out for two weeks now and there are quite a few cameos that people are talking about nonstop.
One of these cameos is Henry Cavill playing an alternate version of Wolverine. The actor now poked fun at his outing as Superman in Justice League, in his most recent Instagram post.
Henry Cavill's Mustache
For his role in Mission Impossible – Fallout, Henry Cavill grew a mustache that was beloved by fans.
The problem was that at the same time, DCEU's Justice League was undergoing reshoots, and Cavill was not allowed to shave the mustache for his role as Superman, because of Paramount.
The solution that Warner Bros came up with caused an uproar among fans that watched Justice League. They used CGI to remove Cavill's mustache, resulting in him having a weird-looking face in the movie.
Now, Henry Cavill has posted a picture of his outing as an alternate version of Wolverine, called “Cavillrine”, with the caption:
To be safe, I shaved the moustache off for this one
It's just a small moment in the movie, but it is still funny to see Cavill openly referencing this mustache drama.
