In a major update to the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific league, Riot Games has removed Bleed Esports due to consistent operational failures and failure to meet key obligations outlined in the Team Participation Agreement (TPA). This decision follows persistent issues regarding the team's reporting and organizational compliance.
The move, while not taken lightly, was made in the best interest of the players and the competitive integrity of the league. Riot Games emphasized that this step was necessary to protect the broader VCT ecosystem and to ensure that all teams adhere to the required standards. Individual players from Bleed Esports have been informed of the decision and are now exploring new opportunities within the esports landscape.
In response, Boom Esports, the runner-up of Ascension Pacific 2024, has been promoted to fill the vacated slot. Riot Games reaffirmed its commitment to merit-based qualifications, allowing Boom Esports to earn their spot based on performance. Despite this change, the VCT Pacific 2025 will move forward with its planned 12-team format.
Boom Esports' roster for VCT Pacific 2025 is as follows:
- BerserX – Rizkie Adla Kusuma (Indonesia)
- famouz – Fikri Zaki (Indonesia)
- Shiro – Hildegard Arnaldo (Indonesia)
- NcSlasher – Sheldon Andersen Chandra (Singapore)
- ZesBeeW – Sha Mohtar (Singapore)
This lineup brings together top talent from both Indonesia and Singapore, positioning Boom Esports as a team to watch in the upcoming season. With their promotion, Boom Esports is set to compete against the best teams in the Pacific region, and fans are eagerly awaiting their debut in the 2025 season.
The VCT Pacific format will proceed as planned, with 12 teams competing for a shot at the VALORANT Champions.
