In the dynamic world of Valorant, where precision and strategy are paramount, a game-altering bug has been uncovered that gives you two Ultimates. Sadly, no-one has worked out exactly how to recreate the bug yet, but watch out for double ults in your games...
Imagine the chaos and imbalance if a player could unleash not one, but two Ults in a single round. This newly discovered bug, though not widely known yet, has the potential to disrupt the competitive integrity of matches.
A clip on Reddit posted by Assastionss revealed a game-changing bug that allowed him to activate two Ults of his agent Skye in succession, with the second Ult being completely free.
How did I get 2 ultimates?!?!?? by u/Assestionss in VALORANT
In the clip you can clearly see that after the first Ult is triggered, the eight required Ult points do not disappear, as would normally be the case. The player seems to have noticed this after a few seconds and immediately triggered his second Ult. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a clear cause for why this bug might’ve occurred and how the player managed to keep his Ult points.
What is noticeable in the clip, however, is that the video and the game sound stutter a little. Later, the players mention that they played the round on Californian servers and that this may have caused the bug.
The game developer Riot Games has not yet issued a statement on the incident. This will probably remain the case, as there is unfortunately no exact way to replicate this error. However, some players claim that it could work if, like the players in the video, you simply play on servers that are far away from your own, but this also seems very unlikely. Maybe the game just felt sorry for the Defender team because of the 0:6 score and wanted to help them get back into the game. In any case, we'll keep an eye out to see if this bug occurs again.
